The Nuggets have waived signed power forward Giorgi Bezhanishvili and waived small forward Matt Ryan, as relayed by RealGM.
Bezhanishvili, 22, is 6-foot-9 and went undrafted out of Illinois. He then played for the Nuggets in summer league.
Ryan is 6-7 and went undrafted out of Chattanooga in 2020. He did not play professionally last season but spent the 2021 summer league with the Cavaliers.
Both players are likely headed to the Grand Rapids Gold, Denver’s affiliate in the G League.
