Pacers, Myles Turner Agree to Two-Year Extension

The Pacers and center Myles Turner have agreed to a two-year contract extension, agent Austin Brown told Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.Myles Turner

The deal is for $60 million, Wojnarowski reported.

Turner has been involved in several trade rumors, though sources told Hoops Wire it doesn’t seem as if Turner is available ahead of the Feb. 9 deadline to make a deal, as we relayed here.

He is averaging 17.5 points and 7.9 rebounds in 42 appearances this season, as the surprising Pacers have remained in the playoff hunt.

“The $17.1M renegotiation — largest in NBA history — is on top of Turner’s $18M salary this season and gives him an annual average of $30M-plus through 2024-2025,” Wojnarowski wrote. “Pacers secure Turner as part of core built around him and guard Tyrese Haliburton.”
