The Raptors intend to waive center/forward Drew Eubanks following a trade with the Spurs ahead of Thursday’s deadline, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
As part of the deal, the Raptors also sent guard Goran Dragic to the Spurs and received forward Thaddeus Young. The Spurs are expected to buy out Dragic’s contract.
Eubanks, 25, is 6-foot-9 and has spent all four seasons of his NBA career with San Antonio. He is averaging 4.7 points and 4.0 rebounds in 49 games this season.
Meanwhile, Young is compiling averages of 6.1 points and 3.6 rebounds in 26 appearances. Toronto seemingly intends to keep him to add veteran depth in the frontcourt.
