Miller issued a statement to NBA reporter Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report after Lillard passed him.

Miller made 2,560 3s with the Indiana Pacers. He’s one of the best shooters of all time. The five-time All-Star finished his legendary career with averages of 18.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.2 blocks.

Stephen Curry, Ray Allen and James Harden are the only players ahead of Lillard on the NBA’s all-time 3-point field goals list. Curry and Harden, of course, are still active players.

In his first season with the Bucks after spending the first 11 years of his career with the Portland Trail Blazers, Lillard is averaging 24.5 points, 4.3 rebounds and 6.8 assists while shooting 42.3% from the field, 35.0% from beyond the arc and 92.7% from the free-throw line.

The Bucks are in third place in the Eastern Conference standings with a strong record of 41-23. It will be fascinating to see how far Milwaukee goes in the 2024 playoffs with Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo leading the way.

Lillard has career averages of 25.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 6.7 assists with the Blazers and Bucks. He will join Miller in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame one day.
