The LeBron James rumor mill isn’t slowing down anytime soon. In fact, according to agent Rich Paul, it’s getting busier.
Appearing on The Pat McAfee Show, Paul revealed that roughly 10 to 12 teams have reached out regarding James as the NBA offseason approaches.

“I would say without naming names about 10 or 12,” Paul said when asked how many clubs have expressed interest in the four-time MVP.
That figure is notable, if only because James will turn 42 in December and has yet to publicly commit to playing another season.
Of course, plenty of the speculation has centered on the Lakers, Warriors and Cavaliers. Multiple recent reports have indicated that Los Angeles remains the favorite to retain James if he decides to continue playing, while Golden State has repeatedly been mentioned as a potential outside contender.
The Cavaliers, meanwhile, continue to be linked to James whenever his future becomes a topic of discussion, though several reports have suggested Cleveland’s financial limitations could make a reunion difficult.
Regardless, Paul’s comments serve as another reminder that interest around the league remains significant.
James averaged 20.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 7.2 assists this past season, then elevated his play in the postseason despite missing time earlier in the year because of a sciatica issue.
As we’ve written before, the rumors are unlikely to disappear until James either signs a new contract or announces he’s done playing.
Until then, it appears plenty of teams are at least checking to see whether one more chapter remains.
