The NBA world is again awaiting a decision from LeBron James. And the NBA world should plan to wait a little longer, according to James’ agent.
“I don’t think this happens anytime soon,” Rich Paul told veteran NBA writer Mark Medina of Forbes.
“I don’t think it’ll be the next few days.”

Beyond that, Paul indicated just about every possibility remains on the table.
“Everything is a blank slate,” Paul said, adding that James is simply “taking his time” as he weighs what comes next.
According to Paul, this is the first time in James’ career that he can make a decision without feeling outside pressure.
“When he left Cleveland, he had to win a ring. When he came back, he had to deliver on the promise,” Paul said. “This is at this stage where he can decide what he wants to do and how he wants to do it.”
As you know, Paul discussed several potential landing spots on his podcast, including the Cavaliers, Nuggets, Timberwolves, Heat, Warriors, Mavericks, Celtics and Spurs. He also suggested the defending champion Knicks are unlikely because James would not want to disrupt their chemistry.
Either way, Paul insisted there is no timetable.
“I’m on his schedule,” Paul said. “I can’t tell the man how fast to move. When he’s telling me what he’s deciding, that’s when I’ll let you guys know.”
