The Sixers swapped out two players Thursday as they continued preparing their NBA and G League rosters for the season.
Philadelphia waived Saint Thomas and Duke Miles, according to RealGM’s transaction log, then announced the signings of Cris Carroll and Taye Fields.
Both newcomers received Exhibit 10 contracts, per Chris Hine of The Philadelphia Inquirer. Thomas and Miles had been on the same type of deal.
All four appear likely to begin the season with the Delaware Blue Coats, so the departures don’t necessarily end Thomas’ or Miles’ time in the organization.
Carroll went undrafted out of Youngstown State this year. Fields went undrafted in 2025 and spent last season playing professionally in Austria.
If Carroll and Fields are waived before the regular season, their contracts make them eligible for bonuses of up to $91,000 by spending at least 60 days with Delaware.
The names on Philadelphia’s camp roster have changed. The likely destination for all four remains the same.
