The Spurs are signing rookie small forward Jordan Hall to a one-year, non-guaranteed contract, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Hall, 20, is 6-foot-8 and went undrafted out of St. Joseph’s. He then appeared in five games with the Spurs’ summer-league team, proving to be a skilled passer with size.
He originally signed a two-way deal with the club in October, but was waived just before the start of the season.
“Jordan Hall is a big guard with a big body,” Spurs guard Tre Jones said during the preseason, via Grant Afseth of SI Fan Nation. “He can shoot it well and has a good feel for the game.”
A roster spot opened after the Spurs decided to waive shooting guard and former lottery pick Josh Primo, who has been accused of exposing himself to women. Primo cleared waivers earlier this week to become an unrestricted free agent.
