CLEVELAND — We’ve got a pretty good idea of what the Cavaliers look like with James Harden in the mix.

That said, they’ve rarely had their core four of Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley, Harden and Jarrett Allen on the floor at the same time. So we still don’t really know how the Cavs can go.

Anyway, I was joined by Ryan Tyler of Big Play Sports on the latest Hoops Wire Live to talk all things Cavs, particularly when it comes to the postseason. View it here on the Hoops Wire Live YouTube page or in the video directly below.

Hoops Wire Live is brought to you by 330 to Go and the Big Play Sports Network. Producers: Steve Bader, Ryan Tyler, Sam Amico.

  1. Progress would be reaching the Eastern Conference Finals. If we lose any earlier than that round, it should be by the best team in the East, the next EC champions. Our team is still really needs to take some more lumps to reach that next level. The sense of urgency for some of our younger guys doesn’t appear like it might be enough this year, from one of our key young guys But he might reach that by playoffs or out talent the competition anyways. I’m not sure if we’ve been there losing enough to be mad enough to come take it yet. We build in excuses for our players, especially the injuries.. This team just needs to go through it, Winning and losing. Part of the journey.

That said, our ceiling is the finals. I’m not sure anybody matches up against the Spurs this year.. and before that nobody had solved OKC. So facing one of those two we’d be underdogs. Can’t wait!
