Thunder’s Darius Bazley Out For Rest OF Season

Thunder forward Darius Bazley is out for the remainder of the season with a knee fracture, becoming the latest in a long line of OKC players who are experiencing a similar fate.

Bazley, 21, is 6-foot-8 and averaged 10.8 points and 6.3 rebounds in 69 games, including 56 starts. This is his third NBA season.

Along with Bazley, the Thunder are also without the injured Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey, Lu Dort, Ty Jerome and Mike Muscala for the rest of the year.

Bazley averaged 13.9 points and 5.5 boards after the All-Star break. “Additionally, he shined major potential from all three levels recording three-consecutive 25+ point outputs in the middle of March,” wrote Ben Creider of SI.com.
