Tom Brady buries half-court jumper at Fanatics Fest

Tom Brady was a legendary performer behind center. But could he make a case for himself as an NBA center?

Probably not, but he may not be a bad option if an NBA team needs a guy to come off the bench and hit a half-court buzzer-beater.

Brady proved as much at Fanatics Fest, burying a jumper from halfcourt like it was easy as finding someone in the end zone. Needless to say, the Fanatics fanaticals went nuts.

No less than LeBron James once pointed to Brady as an inspiration, indicating the Hall of Fame quarterback is proof that elite athletes can continue to shine well into their 40s.

Brady, of course, won seven Super Bowls, including one late in his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The rest came with the New England Patriots.

James has won two with the Heat, one with the Cavaliers and another with the Lakers. He too has made some noise with Fanatics Fest appearances — just not as much as fans had hoped.

We still don’t know, after all, where James will play next season.
