Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard will make his return Monday following a four-game absence with a left calf strain, per Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports.
Lillard, 32, has appeared in five games already this season, compiling averages of 31.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.6 assists, shooting just about 50 percent from the field.
The Blazers have managed to stay afloat in his absence, compiling a 6-3 record heading into Monday’s road game against the Heat.
It’s part of a six-game road trip that started with two games in Phoenix, and will also include stops against the Hornets, Pelicans and Mavericks, respectively.
Along with Lillard, guard Anfernee Simons has been upgraded from doubtful to questionable with left foot soreness.
The Trail Blazers are the only team this season to beat the Suns, having down it twice.
After missing the last four games with a calf stain, Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard will make his return tonight against the Miami Heat, league sources tell @NBAonTNT.
