Evans averaged 8.0 points, 2.5 assists and 2.0 rebounds in his two appearances, including 16 points in his debut. He rolled his ankle and his status for the remained of the season is uncertain.

Evans worked out for both the Bucks and Warriors earlier this month, and then joined the Herd, Milwaukee’s affiliate. He was reinstated by the league in February following the drug ban, and had been working out in Miami with Rockets guard John Wall and free agent forward Michael Beasley, per Marc Stein of The Stein Line.

Evans, 32, is 6-foot-6 and was the fourth overall pick by the Kings in 2009. He played his last NBA season in 2018-19 with the Pacers, averaging 10.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.4 assists. He has also spent time with the Pelicans and Kings.

The Herd made the move after acquiring former Arizona shooting guard Brandon Robinson, who spent time in Wisconsin during the 2019-20 season.
