Green and Thompson, of course, were crucial parts of the Warriors’ dynasty run. While they nor the team are as impactful, the Warriors are looking to make moves around the edges of the roster.

Green, 33, is averaging 9.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 6.1 assists, shooting 49 percent from the field and 42 percent on 3-pointers. He is making and remains one of the NBA’s top irritants on defense. He is due $22.3 million this season, $24.1 million next and $25.8 million in 2025-26, with a player option for $26.7 million the year after that.

Thompson, 33, is averaging 17.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists, shooting 42 percent from the field and 39 percent on threes. He’s making $43.2 million in the final year of his contract.

The Warriors (20-24) sit in 12th place in the Western Conference. Most believe they won’t even qualify for the play-in tournament as currently constructed.
