Warriors’ Stephen Curry Doesn’t Know When He’ll Return From Injury

Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry doesn’t know when he’ll return from his hamstring injury.

Curry suffered a Grade 1 hamstring injury in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Curry is averaging 22.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.1 assists in the 2025 playoffs while shooting 47.7% from the field, 40.0% from 3 and 89.3% from the foul line.

The Warriors beat the Houston Rockets in the first round in seven games.

This is the first time in Curry’s career that he’s dealt with a hamstring injury. The two-time MVP is 37 years old.

“He’s obviously crushed,” Warriors head coach Steve Kerr said about Curry. “But the guys picked him up and played a great game, and obviously we’re all concerned about Steph but it’s part of the game.”

Some believe Curry can return in Game 6. However, the Warriors would have to win one more game without Curry for the series to reach Game 6.

With Curry out, Jimmy Butler, Draymond Green and Buddy Hield will have to take their games to another level for Golden State to stay afloat.

“We know what Jimmy’s capable of,” Green said. “Jimmy’s capable of carrying a team. He carried a team to the Finals twice. So we won’t panic. We will figure out what that means. We have the best coaching staff in the NBA. We know they’ll put us in a good spot and let us know what our offense looks like without Steph if we have to go on without him. We got full confidence in the guys that are on this team that we can make plays, can make shots.”
