The Warriors have waived guard Dusty Hannahs, one day after signing him, the team announced in a press release.
The move presumably will result in Hannahs becoming an affiliate player with the team’s G League affiliate in Santa Cruz.
Hannahs, 29, is 6-foot-4 has appeared in four NBA games, all with the Grizzlies over the course of the 2018 and 2019 seasons. He spent last season with the Adelaide 36ers of Australia’s National Basketball League.
He does already have extensive experience in the G League, appearing in 146 total games, including 13 with the Santa Cruz Warriors.
The Warriors still have a roster spot available after the move, and are said to be keeping it open in the event veteran wing Andre Iguodala intends to return.
