The Wizards will hold their annual Media Day on Friday, Sept. 23, with training camp to tip off a day later, the team announced.
Media Day will start at 2 p.m. EST at Capital One Arena, with coach Wes Unseld Jr. and the players available to preview the upcoming season.
Unseld and GM Tommy Sheppard will actually be available on Sept. 20 for another in-person interview as well. That will be conducted at the MedStar Health and Performance Center.
The Wizards have 11 players from last season on their camp roster, including notables such as Bradley Beal, Kristaps Porzingis and Kyle Kuzma. Several newcomers are expected to play key roles — namely, Monte Morris, Will Barton, Delon Wright and Taj Gibson, and rookie first-round pick Johnny Davis.
They tip off the preseason on Sept. 30 against the defending champion Warriors in Japan.
