The Wizards have agreed to a trade that will send forward/center Montrezl Harrell to the Hornets, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
In exchange, the Wizards will receive guard Ish Smith and center Vernon Carey Jr., Wojnarowski added.
Along with that deal, the Wizards are trading point guard Aaron Holiday to the Suns, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Harrell and Holiday were part of the Wizards’ four-team deal that sent guard Russell Westbrook to the Lakers.
Harrell, 28, is averaging 14.1 points and 6.7 rebounds in 41 games this season. His energy off the bench is generally a big boost to any team he plays for, with the list also including the Rockets, Clippers and Lakers.
