The Knicks know who their stars are. They know their rotation. What they don’t know is who’s grabbing that final roster chair.

New York enters training camp with 12 guaranteed contracts. Thanks to second-apron restrictions, the Knicks can squeeze in one more veteran minimum and one rookie minimum. That’s it.

So who’s it going to be?

The candidates are Malcolm Brogdon, Landry Shamet and Garrison Mathews. Brogdon, 33 in December, comes with the résumé as a recent Sixth Man of the Year and a long track record of efficiency.

Shamet proved useful off the bench last season at Madison Square Garden, averaging 5.7 points and shooting nearly 40 percent from deep.

And Mathews brings energy, toughness and another perimeter threat.

Bottom line: one veteran deal, three names. Training camp will settle it.
