The Grizzlies will be without Santi Aldama a little while longer.

Memphis announced that Aldama is undergoing an arthroscopic procedure on his right knee. As part of the process, he will also receive an orthobiologic injection intended to reduce discomfort in the trochlear compartment of the knee.

Aldama has not played since Feb. 4 because of lingering knee pain.

Before the injury, the veteran forward was enjoying a strong season. Aldama is averaging a career-high 14.0 points and 6.7 rebounds in 27.9 minutes across 43 games.

He is also shooting 47.9 percent from the field and 35.0 percent from three, both above his career averages.

The 24-year-old signed a three-year, $52.5 million contract with Memphis last summer in restricted free agency.

The team said Aldama is expected to make a full recovery. A more specific timetable will be announced following the procedure.

He joins a lengthy injury list for the Grizzlies, which already includes Ja Morant, Scotty Pippen Jr., Walter Clayton Jr., Zach Edey, Brandon Clarke and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
