The Grizzlies continue to be at the center of trade speculation, and one proposed deal would send star guard Ja Morant to the Bulls.
In a recent Bleacher Report article, Grant Hughes outlined several hypothetical Morant trades. One of the more intriguing scenarios had Chicago acquiring Morant and the No. 3 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.
Under the proposal, the Bulls would receive Morant and the third pick, while Memphis would land Patrick Williams, Jalen Smith, Rob Dillingham and the No. 4 selection.
The trade idea is purely hypothetical and does not reflect any reported discussions between the teams.
Still, Morant’s future has become one of the NBA’s biggest offseason storylines.
The two-time All-Star appeared in just 20 games this season, averaging 19.5 points and 8.1 assists. Despite the limited action, Morant remains one of the league’s most explosive guards when healthy.
Meanwhile, the Bulls continue searching for a path back into Eastern Conference contention.
Landing a player of Morant’s caliber would certainly accelerate that process, though it would also come with significant risk given his recent injury history and off-court issues.
Whether Memphis ultimately decides to move its franchise point guard remains to be seen.
