Free agent point guard Quinn Cook is signing with the Zhejiang Guangsha Lions of the Chinese Basketball Association, per Emiliano Carchia of Sportando.
Cook, 29, is 6-foot-1 and was waived by the Kings in October. He last played in the NBA with the Cavaliers in 2020-21, appearing in seven games.
He has also spent time with the Lakers, Warriors, Pelicans and Mavericks, winning two championships along the way. Last season, he played for the Stockton Kings, Sacramento’s G League affiliate.
But he was unable to land a job in the NBA two weeks into the season, likely leading to his decision to try his hand internationally. This marks his second time outside of the U.S., having played six games for Lokomotiv Kuban of Russia in 2020-21.
