Free agent forward Austin Daye has signed with the the New Taipei Kings of Taiwan, his agents told Emiliano Carchia of Sportando.
Daye, 34, is 6-foot-9 and was drafted by the Pistons with the No. 15 overall pick in 2009. He last played in the NBA with the Hawks in 2015. He has also spent time with the Grizzlies, Raptors and Spurs.
The son of former NBA forward Darren Daye, Austin Daye has also spent time in the G League, as well in Israel, Italy and Turkey.
He appeared in six preseason games with the Cavaliers ahead of their championship season of 2015-16, but was waived before the first game.
He carries NBA career averages of 5.2 points and 2.6 rebounds in 293 games overall.
