The Knicks are making a strong push to move forward Cam Reddish ahead of the Feb. 9 trade deadline, according to Marc Stein of The Stein Line.
Among the potential trade partners, per Stein: The Mavericks, Lakers and Bucks.
Reddish, 23, is 6-foot-8, and as Stein relayed, has been benched for 22 games, or since Dec. 3. He is averaging 8.4 points and shooting a career-high 45 percent from the field, but has appeared in just 20 of the Knicks’ 45 games.
Per Stein, the Knicks would be seeking forward Reggie Bullock from the Mavericks as part of a Reddish deal. Bullock is a favorite of Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau. Last month, Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times reported the Knicks are seeking a protected first-rounder in a Reddish deal.
Reddish was selected by the Hawks with the No. 10 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. He was traded to the Knicks, along with forward Solomon Hill and a 2025 second-round pick for forward Kevin Knox and a 2022 first-rounder on Jan. 13, 2022.
The Knicks are also open to moving point guard Derrick Rose, per Stein.
