The Pacers have waived shooting guard Trevelin Queen, the team announced in a press release.
Queen, 26, is 6-foot-6 and signed a two-way deal with the Pacers back in October, not long after he was waived by the 76ers. He spent most of this season with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the G League.
The Pacers’ announcement was incredibly brief and came shortly after Queen was suspended by the G League for one game “for directing threatening language toward a game official,” as relayed by Scott Agness of FieldHouse Files.
Queen was the G League MVP last season and appeared in seven games with the Pacers this year, averaging 3.0 points and 2.4 rebounds in limited action. He appeared in 10 games with the Rockets in 2021-22.
The Pacers now have an available two-way slot heading into the final few weeks of the season.
