Pacers Bring Back Kendall Brown on Two-Way Deal

The Pacers have re-signed free agent guard/forward Kendall Brown on a two-way contract, the team announced in a press release.

Brown is 6-foot-8 and appeared in just six games with Indiana last season as a rookie.

He was originally selected by the Timberwolves with the No. 48 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. The Pacers acquired hm the next day, then signed him to a two-way deal in September.

Brown also spent some time with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants of the G League, where he averaged 9.6 points and 3.9 rebounds in 10 regular-season appearances. He missed six weeks in December and January after suffering a right tibia stress fracture, undergoing surgery in February.

Brown joins shooting guard Isaiah Wong and power forward Oscar Tshiebwe as Indiana’s two-way players. The Pacers currently have 15 players on standard guaranteed contracts as well.

Teams are allowed to carry three two-way players this season, up from two in previous years.
