The Trail Blazers have agreed to a trade that will send star guard Damian Lillard to the Bucks, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
The deal also involves the Suns and other moving parts, per Wojnarowski:
- Bucks guard Jrue Holiday, Suns center Deandre Ayton and multiple picks and pick swaps to the Blazers.
- Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic, Blazers wing Nassir Little, Blazers guard Keon Johnson and Bucks guard Grayson Allen to the Suns.
The move will team Lillard with Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo, giving Milwaukee perhaps the most formidable one-two punch in the Eastern Conference.
Interestingly Lillard insisted on being traded to the Heat when he made his request back in July, and as far as anyone can tell, he has not backed off that demand. But getting a chance to compete for a title next to Antetokounmpo and the others could change all that.
