The Toronto Raptors are acquiring guard Spencer Dinwiddie in exchange for point guard Dennis Schroder, per NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Both players were rumored to be available ahead of Thursday’s trade deadline, though hadn’t been linked to the other.
Forward Thad Young is also headed to the Nets with Schroder, Wojnarowski added.
Dinwiddie, 30, is averaging 12.6 points, 6.0 assists and 3.3 rebounds, shooting 39 percent from the field and 32 percent on 3-pointers. He has also spent time with the Washington Wizards, Detroit Pistons and Dallas Mavericks, serving two stints with the Nets.
Schroder, 30, is averaging 13.7 points, 6.1 assists and 2.7 rebounds, shooting 44 percent from the field and 35 percent on threes. Much like Dinwiddie, Schroder is well-traveled and was in just his first season with Toronto.
Young, 35, is averaging 5.0 points and 3.3 rebounds in limited action, while shooting 62 percent from the field.
