The Toronto Raptors plan to sign guard Jahmi’us Ramsey to a 10-day contract, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Ramsey, 22, was selected by the Sacramento Kings with the No. 43 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. He signed a multi-year deal with the Kings in December of that year, only to be waived a couple months later.
He signed with the Oklahoma City Thunder for training camp, only to be waived again. He then began a stint with the OKC Blue of the G League.
In 32 games with the Kings, Ramsey carries career averages of 3.1 points and 40 percent shooting.
He is averaging 20.6 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.1 steals in 30 games with the Blue.
Earlier Monday, the Raptors announced that they’ve signed Mouhamadou Gueye to a two-way contract, as we relayed here.
