The Hawks have signed shooting guard Chaundee Brown to a two-way contract, the team announced in a press release.
Brown, 23, is 6-foot-5 and has spent most of the season with the South Bay Lakers of the G League after going undrafted out of Michigan last summer. With South Bay, he averaged 16.3 points and 5.1 rebounds in 38 games, all starts.
He also has some NBA experience. He initially attended training camp with the Lakers, but was waived in October, just before the start of the season. He then re-signed with the Lakers in November, then was released a month later.
After that, he signed a 10-day hardship deal with the Hawks. Between the Lakers and Hawks, he appeared in five games and averaged 6.2 points.
The Hawks had an open two-way slot after signing Skylar Mays to a standard contract. The roster is now full and presumably set for the play-in tournament.
