Hawks power forward John Collins will attempt to return from foot and finger injuries to play against the Heat in Game 1 of their playoff series, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Collins has been sidelined since March 11 with a sprained right foot and plantar fascia tear, as well as a right finger sprain.
Overall, he has appeared in 54 games during the regular season, and is second on the team in both scoring (16.2 ppg) and rebounding (7.8 rpg).
Per Hawks coach Nate McMillan, Collins was able to participate in some 4-on-4 drills at practice on Thursday. The news of his potential return comes at a good time, as the Hawks are expected to be without center Clint Capela (knee) for at least a week.
