Alex Antetokounmpo is headed back overseas.
The youngest brother of former Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo has officially signed with Greek club Promitheas Vikos Cola for the 2026-27 season, per Johnny Askounis of Eurohoops.
Alex joined Milwaukee on a two-way contract last October, giving the Antetokounmpo brothers another opportunity to share the same NBA roster. His NBA action, however, proved limited, as the 24-year-old forward appeared in just six games and averaged 3.2 points in 3.5 minutes.

He spent most of the season with the G League’s Wisconsin Herd, where he averaged 4.9 points and 2.9 rebounds across 47 appearances.
Alex has bounced between the G League and Europe throughout his pro career, with previous stops in Spain, Lithuania, Montenegro and Greece before returning to the Bucks organization.
His departure comes after Giannis was traded to the Heat earlier this month, removing much of the incentive for Milwaukee to retain Alex.
Previous reports also indicated coach Doc Rivers and members of the Bucks’ staff had grown frustrated that roster spots occupied by Giannis’ brothers could have gone to players better positioned to contribute.
