Not only that, but per Marc Stein of The Stein Line, Schröder may even be open to re-signing with the Rockets this offseason.

Schröder is in the final months of the one-year contract he signed with the Celtics before the season. He was traded to Houston at the deadline on Feb. 10.

“The Rockets won’t have Bird rights on Schröder this summer, which is among the reasons Boston opted to trade him after signing Schröder in free agency on a one-year deal just shy of $6 million, but word is that the sides have not ruled out extending Schröder’s stay in Houston beyond this season or working together on sign-and-trade possibilities in the offseason,” Stein reported.

Schröder, , has appeared in four games with the Rockets (through Saturday) and is averaging 11.5 points and 7.3 assists. He has also spent time with the Lakers, Thunder and Hawks.
