Hoops Wire Live: Dear Cavs, Meet Your Biggest Weekend In Long, Long Time

It doesn’t get any bigger than this for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Two games. At Indiana. Trailing the Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Pacers, 2-0.

The Cavs are rightfully only focused on Game 3, Friday night. They leave it to NBA media types, such as myself, to predict what else could or couldn’t happen. And I do all that — and a whole lot more — on the latest Hoops Wire Live from 330 to Go. Check it out here or directly below.

As we relayed earlier, Darius Garland, Evan Mobley and De’Andre Hunter are all expected to give it a go for Game 3 (7:30 p.m. EST, ESPN).

“They participated in the walk-through and we’re hoping for the best,” Cavs coach Kenny Atkinson said. “I think it’s frustrating for all of us, right? It’s no indictment on anybody, it’s just, injuries are a tough thing and you don’t really know unless you experience it yourself.”

Of course, that will be along with Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen, Max Strus, Ty Jerome and others playing vital roles — as the Cavs aim to become the sixth team to come back from an 0-2 series deficit after losing each of the first two at home.
