Free agent forward Jake Layman has agreed to a contract with Spanish club BAXI Manresa, as relayed by EuroHoops.
Layman, 28, is 6-foot-8 and was waived by the Celtics on Oct. 15. He spent last season with the Timberwolves, his role decreasing throughout the season, averaging 2.4 points in 34 games.
He spent the first three years of his career with the Trail Blazers, then averaged a career-high 9.1 points in 2019-20 with Minnesota.
Originally drafted by the Magic out of Maryland (No. 47 overall, 2016), Layman has played 243 NBA games overall.
“Layman was in advanced talks with Panathinaikos recently, however, the Greek club changed plans and signed Dwayne Bacon,” EuroHoops wrote.
