Jazz, Lakers Talking Bojan Bogdanovic Trade

The Jazz and Lakers are holding “ongoing” trade talks centered on swingman Bojan  Bogdanovic, per Tony Jones of The Athletic.Bojan Bogdanovic

This isn’t the first time Bogdanovic has been linked to LA, as the sides have reportedly visited on several occasions.

Along with the Lakers, Bogdanovic has drawn interest from the Suns, Mavericks and Knicks, according to multiple reports.

Jazz GM Justin Zanik made it fairly clear that veterans such as Bogdanovic, Mike Conley, Rudy Gay and perhaps Jordan Clarkson are among the Utah players available.

“Those conversations continue to evolve, we’ve continued to be in touch with them directly and their representation,” Zanik said, via Andy Larsen of the Salt Lake Tribune. “Obviously there’s been a lot of change this summer, so it’s natural for us to have those conversations.”

The Jazz and Lakers have already pulled off one deal this offseason, with Patrick Beverley being dealt to LA in exchange for Talen Horton-Tucker and Stanley Johnson.

And while they may not yet be close on another, it appears they’re working on it.

Bogdanovic averaged 18.1 points in 69 games last season, making 39 percent of his 3-pointers. This year, he will be on a $19.3 million expiring contract.
