While the roster may still be in limbo, at least the Lakers know what they’ll be wearing.
Or more specifically, what they’ll be wearing on days when they break out their “statement” edition of their uniforms. That’s because the Lakers have unveiled their statement jerseys.
They used no less than newcomer Patrick Beverley to display the unis in a tweet.

The Lakers will sport the jerseys on select dates throughout the season. In short, it’s no surprise that a traditional power chose such as traditional look, as the “statement” uniforms could be mistaken for what the Lakers normally wear.
At any rate, even after acquiring Beverley in a trade with the Jazz, the Lakers seem to continue to be on the lookout for help. Along with all the Russell Westbrook trade rumors, they also appear to be looking to try to surround LeBron James and Anthony Davis with more shooters.
Most recently, they have been linked to Jazz wing Bojan Bogdanovic. As we relayed here, the Lakers and Jazz are having “ongoing” talks about Bogdanovic.
