The Lithuanian national team has trimmed its roster to 13 for the FIBA World Cup after releasing shooting guard Dovydas Giedraitis and power forward Donatas Tarolis.
Without question, Pelicans center Jonas Valanciunas is the Lithuanian player most well-known to NBA fans.
Former Rockets power forward Donatas Motiejunas, former Magic small forward Ignas Brazdeikis and ex-Knicks forward Mindaugas Kuzminskas are also on the team.
Lithuania, coached by Kazys Maksvytis, tips off World Cup play against Egypt on Aug. 26. The remaining roster is below:
