Louisiana Tech Forward Kenneth Lofton To Stay In NBA Draft

Louisiana Tech sophomore big man Kenneth Lofton intends to sign with an agent and remain in the 2022 NBA Draft, he announced on social media.

Lofton is 6-foot-7 and 275 pounds, and averaged 16.5 points and 10.5 rebounds in 33 games this past season.

Lofton is not projected to be selected in most drafts, but fared well at the G League Elite Camp, earning an invite to the NBA Combine. In his lone scrimmage there, he recorded 13 points and three steals.

“He likely formed his decision to stay in the draft based on feedback from team executives and scouts after a strong performance in the combine,” wrote Cody Taylor of Yahoo Sports. “He will also have the opportunity to improve his draft stock in private workouts with teams.”
