Marcus Georges-Hunt Agrees To Deal With Puerto Rican Club

Free agent shooting guard Marcus Georges-Hunt has agreed to a contract with Puerto Rican club Mets de Guaynabo, per Emiliano Carchia of Sportando.Marcus Georges-Hunt

Georges-Hunt, 28, is 6-foot-6 and appeared in five games with the Magic in 2016-17, then in 42 games with the Timberwolves a year later. He has also spent time with the Maine Red Claws, College Park Skyhawks and Iowa Wolves of the G League.

Mostly, though, Hunt has played internationally since going undrafted out of Georgia Tech in 2016. That includes a couple of runs in China, as well as with Brujos de Guayama of Puerto Rico last season.

Hunt carries NBA career averages of 1.6 points and 42 percent shooting. Along with everything else, he signed a 10-day contract with the Heat in February 2017.
