Free agent guard Mario Chalmers has signed a contract with Zamboanga Valientes of the Philippines, per Alberto De Roa of HoopsHype.
Terms weren’t reported, though De Roa added that it’s for the 2023 season.
Chalmers, 36, is 6-foot-2 and most known as being the point guard on the Heat teams that featured LeBron James, Chris Bosh, and Dwyane Wade from 2010-14. He recently had been playing in the NBA G League.
He has also spent time in Greece, Italy, Spain, and Puerto Rico.
Along with the Heat, Chalmers played for the Grizzlies, from 2015-18. He carries NBA career averages of 8.9 points, 3.7 assists and 42 percent shooting, including 35 percent on 3-pointers.
