More from the NBA

  • The Raptors guard/forward Rodney Hood have agreed to push back the guarantee date on his salary for next season to Aug. 3, per Blake Murphy of The Athletic. “For the Raptors, this is an easy win — it gives them an additional week to see if there are any trade possibilities that could use Hood’s $10.85M salary for 2021-22,” Murphy wrote.
  • Murphy also took a look at some potential draft-and-stash options, along with several of the top international prospects. French guard Juhann Begarin is one played identified by Murphy as a “legitimate potential target” for Toronto.
  • Bucks guard Bryn Forbes won’t pick up the second year of his player option, making him a unrestricted free agent next month, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. “Forbes played a significant role off the bench as the Bucks delivered the franchise’s first NBA championship in 50 years,” Wojnarowski wrote.
