The NBA has begun sending out green room invitations for the 2026 draft.
According to ESPN’s Jeremy Woo, the league has invited 14 draft prospects to attend the event so far, with additional invitations expected to be issued in the coming days.
Green room invites are generally reserved for players projected to be selected in the first round. While receiving an invitation doesn’t guarantee a first-round selection, it typically serves as a strong indication of where league executives believe a prospect will come off the board.
Among the players receiving invitations are several candidates to be selected near the top of the draft, including AJ Dybantsa, Darryn Peterson and Cameron Boozer.
According to ESPN, the following prospects have been invited to the green room:
- AJ Dybantsa (BYU)
- Darryn Peterson (Kansas)
- Cameron Boozer (Duke)
- Caleb Wilson (North Carolina)
- Keaton Wagler (Illinois)
- Darius Acuff (Arkansas)
- Mikel Brown (Louisville)
- Kingston Flemings (Houston)
- Nate Ament (Tennessee)
- Aday Mara (Michigan)
- Brayden Burries (Arizona)
- Karim Lopez (Mexico)
- Labaron Philon (Alabama)
- Christian Anderson (Texas Tech)
Notably absent from the initial wave were Michigan forwards Yaxel Lendeborg and Morez Johnson, both of whom rank among ESPN’s top prospects. However, additional green room invitations are expected, making it likely those players could still receive invitations before draft night.
The 2026 NBA Draft begins June 23.
