The Pacers have signed Tony Bradley to a standard contract for the remainder of the season, the team announced in a press release.
Bradley had previously signed two 10-day contracts with the Pacers, and the team opted to retain him after the second 10-day deal expired. The 25-year-old center has appeared in seven games off the bench, averaging 3.0 points and 1.9 rebounds in 5.0 minutes per contest.
With Bradley’s addition, the Pacers now have a full roster as they head into the stretch run of the season, according to the team’s roster counts.
Bradley, selected with the 28th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, spent six years in the league from 2017 to 2023 but was not part of an NBA roster last season. He had gone over two years without appearing in a regular-season game before making four appearances for the Pacers during his first 10-day stint with the team.
Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle praised Bradley for his contributions and development, calling him an ideal third-string center.
“In practices and in simulated stuff in the gym, he’s been terrific,” Carlisle said. “Smart, great hands, defensively has a really good feel for what we’re doing here.”
Bradley will serve as a backup to Myles Turner and Thomas Bryant. During his 20 days with the Pacers, the former North Carolina standout has earned just over $300,000 and is expected to receive a prorated veteran’s minimum deal moving forward.
