Pacers signing Tony Bradley to second 10-day contract

The Pacers intend to sign center Tony Bradley to a second 10-day contract, per Dustin Dopirak of the Indianapolis Star. His initial 10-day deal expired after Tuesday’s thriller of a win over the Bucks.Tony Bradley, Pacers, NBA

Bradley, the 28th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, spent six seasons in the league between 2017 and 2023 but was not active during the 2023-24 season, going over two years without playing in a regular season game.

He made his return to the court with the Pacers, appearing in four games during his first 10-day contract. In those limited minutes, Bradley contributed six points, four rebounds, and a block across just nine total minutes of play.

Despite the brief action, the Pacers have seen enough from the 25-year-old center to warrant extending his stay for another 10 days. Bradley will continue to serve as the third center on the Pacers’ depth chart, behind Myles Turner and Thomas Bryant.

Bradley’s new deal will pay him $150,179 for the 10 days, bringing his total earnings for the 20-day period to just over $300,000. The contract will also add $119,972 to the Pacers’ salary cap.

Indiana’s next game is Friday in Philadelphia, meaning Bradley could be officially signed in time to participate in up to six of the team’s remaining games. If completed today, Bradley would be available for up to five more games, with his contract set to expire the day before the Pacers’ March 22 matchup against Brooklyn.

Should Bradley’s second 10-day contract conclude without an extension, the Pacers would need to offer him a standard contract for the remainder of the season to keep him on the roster.
