Tyler Herro says he’s putting last week’s altercation with former Heat teammate Bam Adebayo behind him.
Speaking to ESPN, the new Bucks guard said his focus is now on helping Milwaukee turn the page following a franchise-altering offseason.
“Honestly, I’m just trying to move past all of it,” Herro said. “I’m focused on Milwaukee and building something special. They obviously just traded the greatest player in their history, so we want to come in and help continue what they’ve been doing.”

Herro’s comments come just days after ESPN reported he and Adebayo were involved in a physical confrontation at Resorts World in Las Vegas.
According to ESPN, Adebayo confronted Herro over comments made on social media following the blockbuster trade that sent Herro to Milwaukee in exchange for Giannis Antetokounmpo. The encounter eventually turned physical before others stepped in.
Despite the incident, Herro indicated he’s looking ahead rather than revisiting the past.
The Wisconsin native also admitted that if he was going to leave Miami, there was only one destination that truly appealed to him.
“I’m ready to come home and not prove everyone wrong,” Herro said. “But just be able to represent the city and the state because I wanted to do that coming out of school as well.”
Herro spent seven seasons with the Heat, earning Sixth Man of the Year honors in 2022 and his first All-Star selection during the 2024-25 season.
While his Miami tenure ended on a rocky note, the 26-year-old suggested he’s embracing a fresh start with his hometown team.
As for any lingering issues with Adebayo, Herro made it clear he’d rather leave them in the past.
