Warriors Signing Two Players To Summer Roster

Golden State Warriors, NBAThe Golden State Warriors are adding a pair of experienced college guards to their Summer League roster, reaching Exhibit 10 agreements with Houston’s LJ Cryer and Texas Tech’s Chance McMillian, according to multiple reports.

Cryer, 23, is coming off a standout season with Houston, where he averaged 15.7 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game while shooting 42.4% from deep. A career 41.3% three-point shooter over five college seasons, Cryer helped Baylor win a national championship in 2021 before transferring to Houston for his final two years.

He earned All-Big 12 first-team honors and was named a third-team All-American in 2024-25, playing a key role in leading the Cougars to the NCAA title game.

ESPN ranked him No. 37 among draft-eligible prospects who went undrafted.

McMillian wasn’t far behind, checking in at No. 39 on ESPN’s board. The 6-foot-2 guard spent three years at Grand Canyon and two at Texas Tech, breaking out in 2024-25 as a full-time starter. He posted averages of 14.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists while hitting 43.3% of his three-point attempts — consistent with his career 40.8% mark from beyond the arc.

While only Cryer’s deal has been formally reported as an Exhibit 10, McMillian’s agreement is expected to follow a similar structure as the Warriors plug their summer camp roster with outside shooting and experience.
