What’s next for the Jazz following the trades of Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert?
Well, the how basketball-loving universe knows that they are looking to also ship off some of their other veterans — namely, Bojan Bogdanovic, Mike Conley, Rudy Gay and probably even Jordan Clarkson.
Jazz GM Justin Zanik admitted as much during a meeting with the media.
“Those conversations continue to evolve, we’ve continued to be in touch with them directly and their representation,” Zanik said, via Andy Larsen of the Salt Lake Tribune. “Obviously there’s been a lot of change this summer, so it’s natural for us to have those conversations.”
Bogdanovic has already been linked to the Suns, Lakers, Knicks and Maverricks. So far, though, there has not been any reported interest in the others.
Along with the changes to the roster, the Jazz have undergone a major coaching change, as Quin Snyder was replaced with ex-Celtics assistant Will Hardy after Snyder’s decision to step aside.
