The Giannis Antetokounmpo rumor mill keeps spinning, and now the Clippers have entered the conversation.
According to Grant Afseth of Dallas Hoops Journal, one potential framework being discussed would send Antetokounmpo to the Celtics, Jaylen Brown to the Clippers and the Clippers’ No. 5 overall pick to the Bucks.

Afseth added that no deal is close and that the concept represents just one of several structures being modeled around a possible Antetokounmpo trade.
Still, the Clippers’ involvement is noteworthy.
Most speculation surrounding Brown has centered on teams such as the Hawks, Rockets and Trail Blazers. The Clippers haven’t been regularly linked to the Celtics star, making their appearance in this scenario somewhat unexpected.
The key asset is the No. 5 overall pick.
Los Angeles acquired the selection from Indiana earlier this year, and it could become a valuable piece if Milwaukee ultimately decides to move Antetokounmpo and begin replenishing its collection of draft assets.
As for Boston, the idea is fairly straightforward. The Celtics have repeatedly been mentioned as a potential destination for Antetokounmpo, though any realistic deal would likely require moving Brown.
That’s where things get complicated.
And when Giannis rumors start getting complicated, that’s usually when third teams start showing up.
Apparently, the Clippers may be one of them.
