We know the Cavaliers tip off their 2023-24 season Oct. 25 with a road game against the Nets. Now, we know when the G League’s Cleveland Charge will begin their season, too.
That will be on Nov. 10 at home vs. the Wisconsin Herd, the Bucks’ affiliate. The G League released its full schedule on Tuesday.
Per a press release from the team:
- The Charge’s new schedule features 17 of their 24 home games on the weekends — seven Fridays, six Saturdays, and four Sundays.
- Their longest homestand will be five games over 15 days from March 3-17.
- Meanwhile, their longest road trip of the season will be seven games in four cities over a span of 13 days from January 15-22.
The Charge play all home games at the Cleveland State University’s Wolstein Center. They will be holding an open tryout on Sept. 16 at HoopTech in North Ridgeville.
The Cavs signed rookie forward Emoni Bates and rookie point guard Craig Porter Jr. to two-way contracts — meaning both could be in a Charge uniform at times this summer.
